Business Success and a Prosperous Economy
Good Business Colorado believes that with a prosperous economy, everyone will be better able to thrive. A prosperous economy should include good health, career growth opportunities, fair workplaces, and livable wages. Part of this includes good jobs that provide enough money for people to live on. It also includes workplace fairness and improved education and training from public education.

Sustainable Environment
As part of its goal of a sustainable environment, Good Business Colorado promotes renewable energy and clean water and air. It also encourages public lands where Coloradoans can enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. Some specific goals within this value include preserving public lands, improving the cleanliness of air and water, and investing in renewable energy; something Colorado is a leader in.

Equitable Communities
This small organization believes that equitable communities include equal treatment, affordable workforce housing, and the ability to live in a safe neighborhood. This should be true regardless of characteristics, including race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, immigration status and other characteristics. Equitable, thriving communities include the goals of affordable housing, public transportation, public education and training, and civil rights.

Good Business Colorado (GBC)
Good Business Colorado (GBC) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization working at the intersection of business, education, and equity. As the 501(c)(3) educational affiliate of the Good Business Colorado Association, GBC exists to support employers and entrepreneurs who believe that doing good and doing business go hand in hand.
We provide workshops, roundtables, and tools to help small business owners align their operations with their values—from advancing racial and social equity to adopting climate-smart business practices. Our programs are designed to cultivate responsible leadership, inspire civic engagement, and connect business owners with community, government, and philanthropic partners who share a vision for a more just and sustainable future.
Through GBC’s educational initiatives, we help business leaders deepen their understanding of issues like environmental justice, affordable housing, and inclusive economies—while gaining the skills needed to take meaningful action.
Whether you're new to values-centered business or a seasoned changemaker, GBC is here to support your journey, amplify your impact, and foster connection across Colorado’s diverse business ecosystem.
Good Business Colorado Association (GBCA)
Good Business Colorado Association (GBCA) is a grassroots membership organization made up of employers and entrepreneurs committed to building a prosperous economy, equitable communities, and a sustainable environment. Founded in 2017, GBCA is Colorado’s first business association rooted in values-based leadership and policy advocacy.
We represent over 500 businesses from 32 counties—spanning industries from tech and manufacturing to hospitality and health care. Our members are unified by the belief that business success is not measured by profit alone, but by the health of our planet, the resilience of our communities, and the shared prosperity we cultivate together.
Through active advocacy at the Colorado Capitol and in local policy spaces, GBCA gives small, minority-owned, rural, and values-driven businesses a voice in shaping the future. We take on the pressing issues that matter most to our members—fair wages, affordable healthcare, racial equity, climate action, and inclusive economic opportunity—while challenging the influence of large corporations that too often dominate public policy.
As a member-led organization, GBCA provides a platform for business owners to lead boldly, collaborate meaningfully, and co-create a more compassionate and humane economy. Our members not only gain access to a thriving peer network—they help set the agenda for what good business in Colorado can and should be.
