We believe Colorado’s workers deserve jobs with wages that can cover all their basics, including rent, food, transportation and medicine – and that it’s wrong when businesses paying poverty wages shift their responsibility to taxpayers for public assistance costs. Workers with more disposable income spend it in our local communities, growing our economy. Furthermore, we know that family-friendly workplaces benefit the companies that provide them by incentivizing workers to be more loyal and productive.
