Please join Good Business Colorado, Small Business Majority, and our partner organizations for a Q&A for Small Business on Colorado's Health Insurance Option.
If the Colorado Health Insurance Option bill passes, it would help small businesses access lower-cost healthcare insurance plans through a two-phased process. First, the state would establish standardized health plans for both individuals and small groups which private insurance carriers would have two years to offer voluntarily at a 20% cost reduction to consumers. If they don’t, the state would create a Colorado Option Authority to offer the plans with federal funding from tax credit savings.
We'll be joined by the bill's sponsors, State Representatives Dylan Roberts and Iman Jodeh, who will be eager to hear your thoughts on the plan.
