Official Rules, Terms & Conditions

1. SPONSOR

The Good Business Colorado Clean Energy BINGO game (the “game”) is sponsored by Good Business Colorado Association (“Sponsor”), a Colorado nonprofit organization.

2. CONTEST PERIOD

the Game begins at 12:00:01 AM Mountain Time (“MT”) on [4/15/26] (“Start Date”) and ends at 11:59:59 PM MT on 6/30/26] (“End Date”) (collectively, the "Game Period”). The Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for this Contest. Submissions received outside the Game Period will not be accepted. Sponsor reserves the right to extend the Game Period at its sole discretion with reasonable notice to participants.

3. ELIGIBILITY

the Game is open only to individuals who, at the time of entry, meet ALL of the following requirements:

Are a current member in good standing of Good Business Colorado Association, or are an employee, officer, or authorized representative of a current member organization;
Are a legal resident of the State of Colorado;
Are at least eighteen (18) years of age;
Have a valid email address and mailing address in Colorado; and
Are not otherwise ineligible under these Official Rules.

The following individuals are NOT eligible to participate:

Employees of the Sponsor
Any individual who has directly administered, judged, or managed this Contest on behalf of the Sponsor
Individuals under the age of 18.

4. HOW TO ENTER

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER. To enter the Game, participants must complete the following steps during the Game Period:

Obtain an official Good Business Colorado Clean Energy BINGO card from the Sponsor via email. Complete one or more squares on the BINGO card by performing the civic action described in that square.
Document completion of each square with acceptable proof of participation, which may include: a photograph, email, screenshot, event confirmation email, signed letter or submission confirmation, or written description with verifiable details. Sponsor reserves the right to request additional documentation.
Submit the completed BINGO card and all supporting documentation to info@goodbusinessco.org by 11:59:59 PM MT on the End Date. Submissions must include participant’s full legal name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and member organization (if applicable).

Limit of one (1) BINGO card entry per person. Multiple submissions from the same individual will result in disqualification. Entries submitted on behalf of another person are not permitted. Mechanically reproduced, automated, or bulk entries are void. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, or corrupted entries.

5. PRIZES

The following prizes are available in this Game. All prize values are in United States Dollars (USD). Total approximate retail value of all prizes: $850.

Multiple winners may be awarded the Bonus Row Prize and the Participation Prize. There is a 25 person limit on the number of Bonus Row Prize (first 25 participants to submit BINGO Card, provided eligibility requirements are satisfied.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-assignable, and have no cash equivalent, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable for any reason. Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on prize value. Sponsor will issue IRS Form 1099-MISC to winners receiving prizes valued at $600.00 or more in a calendar year, as required by law.

6. WINNER DETERMINATION

Winners will be determined as follows:

1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place: All eligible, verified entries will be ranked by the total number of completed and verified BINGO squares. The participant with the most verified completed squares will be awarded 1st Place. The participant with the second-most verified squares will be awarded 2nd Place, and the participant with the third-most verified squares will be awarded 3rd Place.

Tiebreaker: In the event two or more participants are tied for any ranked placement (1st, 2nd, or 3rd Place), the winner will be determined by a random lottery drawing conducted by Sponsor from among all tied participants. The drawing will be witnessed by at least one Sponsor representative not directly involved in Contest administration. The tiebreaker drawing is final and binding.

Bonus Row Prize: Any eligible participant who completes all five (5) squares in the designated middle column of the BINGO card (running vertically from top to bottom) and submits verified documentation for each completed square will be awarded the Bonus Row Prize. Multiple participants may win this prize.

Participation Prize: Any eligible participant who submits at least one (1) verified completed square by the submission deadline will be awarded the Participation Prize.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry that Sponsor determines does not satisfy the requirements of these Official Rules or that Sponsor believes was obtained through fraud, misrepresentation, or any means not authorized by these Official Rules.

7. WINNER NOTIFICATION & PRIZE CLAIM

Potential winners will be notified by email at the address provided at time of entry no later than August 30th, 60 days after End Date]. Potential winners must respond to the notification email within ten (10) calendar days of the date the notification is sent. Failure to respond within the specified time period will result in forfeiture of the prize and an alternate winner may be selected from remaining eligible entries at Sponsor’s discretion.

Prior to receiving any prize, each potential winner may be required to complete, sign, and return: (a) an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release; (b) a Publicity Release (where permitted by law); and (c) a completed IRS Form W-9 (for prizes valued at $600 or more). Failure to return required documents within the specified time period may result in forfeiture of the prize.

Prizes will be delivered by gift card or check mailed to the verified winner’s Colorado address, or by another method specified by Sponsor, within approximately sixty (60) days of receipt and verification of all required documentation.

8. ODDS OF WINNING

The odds of winning a ranked prize (1st, 2nd, or 3rd Place) depend on the total number of eligible entries received and the number of verified squares completed by all participants. The odds of winning the Bonus Row Prize depend on the total number of eligible participants who complete the middle column. The odds of receiving a Participation Prize are 1 in 1 for any eligible participant who submits at least one verified square by the deadline.

9. GENERAL CONDITIONS & DISQUALIFICATION

Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant who:

Tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Game;
Violates these Official Rules;
Provides false, inaccurate, or misleading information in connection with their entry;
Fabricates, falsifies, or misrepresents documentation submitted to verify completed squares;
Acts in a manner that is disruptive, disrespectful, or otherwise contrary to the spirit of the Game; or
Attempts to enter more than once.

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Game if fraud, technical failures, human error, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Game, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor will make reasonable efforts to notify participants.

10. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By entering the Game, each participant agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless the Sponsor and its officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, contractors, and representatives (collectively, “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) participation in the Game or any Contest-related activity; (b) the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize; (c) any injury, loss, or damage of any kind resulting from participation in the Game; or (d) any typographical, printing, or other error in these Official Rules or Contest materials.

The Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information whether caused by participants, printing errors, or by equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Game; (b) technical failures of any kind; (c) the failure of any entry to be received, processed, or verified for any reason; or (d) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused by participating in Contest-related activities.

11. PUBLICITY

Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize, each winner grants Sponsor permission to use winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, statements, city and state of residence, and prize information for advertising, trade, and promotional purposes in any media now known or hereafter developed, worldwide, in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, or permission, unless prohibited by law. Winners may be asked to provide a brief written statement or photograph for use in Sponsor’s communications. Winners may decline this request without affecting prize eligibility.

12. PRIVACY

Personal information collected from participants in connection with this Contest will be used solely for the purposes of administering the Game, verifying eligibility, awarding prizes, and communicating with participants about the Game and Sponsor’s programs and activities. Sponsor will not sell participant personal information to third parties. Sponsor’s full privacy policy is available at [INSERT URL].

13. DISPUTES & GOVERNING LAW

These Official Rules and the Game shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Official Rules or the Game shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado, and each participant consents to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EACH PARTICIPANT WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION AGAINST THE SPONSOR OR RELEASED PARTIES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS CONTEST.

14. NOT A LOTTERY

This Game is a skill- and action-based promotion. It is not a lottery. No element of chance determines the ranked prize winners (except as a tiebreaker), and no purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or win. This Contest is intended to comply with all applicable Colorado contest and promotion laws.

15. OFFICIAL RULES AVAILABILITY

These Official Rules are available throughout the Game Period at www.goodbusinessco.org and upon written request sent to info@goodbusinessco.org. In the event of any discrepancy between these Official Rules and any Contest promotional materials, these Official Rules shall govern.

16. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Official Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. SPONSOR DECISIONS FINAL

All decisions of the Sponsor with respect to the Game, including but not limited to the verification of entries, determination of winners, and resolution of disputes, are final and binding in all respects.
