Meet the Team
Debra Brown - Executive Director
Debra has been involved with and played a central role in Good Business Colorado since the inception of the organization. As the Business Campaign Manager for Colorado Business for a Fair Minimum Wage during the 2016 State Minimum Wage Increase Ballot Initiative, Debra was well positioned to recruit and convene the Core Organizing Group that eventually founded Good Business Colorado.
Debra has extensive experience with both business and nonprofit organizations. She is the Co-Founder and CEO of MobilizeUs, a social enterprise that provides organizations with affordable and effective text messaging and mobile marketing services. Debra also has over twenty years of experience in launching and growing nonprofit organizations, with concentrated expertise in grassroots fundraising. In addition to the Business Campaign Manager for the 2016 State Minimum Wage Increase Ballot Initiative, past relevant positions held by Debra include serving as the Community Relations Liaison for the Southern Arizona Children’s Advocacy Center, the Director of the Colorado Community Organizers Collaborative Grassroots Fundraising Project, and the US Outreach Coordinator for DocFactory. Debra is a Colorado native who graduated Summa cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a degree in political science.

Jordan Pryczynski - Director of Membership
As the director of membership, Jordan is responsible member outreach and engagement. Before joining Good Business Colorado in July 2018, Jordan held various corporate sales roles during his 16-year career with T-Mobile USA. A human nutrition and dietetics student and Metropolitan State University of Denver, Jordan is passionate about giving back to his local communities and believes strongly in the impacts an individual with determination can have on their community. Most recently, Jordan held volunteer positions as a nutrition educator with Metro Caring and provided marketing and communications consulting for LiveWell Colorado’s School Food Initiative where he learned the value of advocacy and education about issues that are faced by at risk communities and individuals. In October of 2018, Jordan was elected to the board of director for Urban Peak, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Colorado youth experiencing homelessness navigate the real-life challenges they face and become self-sufficient adults. When not at work, Jordan enjoys spending time with family and traveling.

Karen Moldovan - Director of Policy
Karen has been involved in nonprofit advocacy and policy efforts since 2001. Her professional experience has often focused on working with underserved populations, including survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, families experiencing homelessness, and pregnant and parenting youth. As the Director of Policy for Good Business Colorado, she is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating the organization’s policy activities. From 2009 to 2015, Karen worked as the Director of Policy for the Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CCASA). In that capacity, she conceptualized and championed numerous legislative efforts regarding Colorado’s response to sexual violence, with a focus on increasing survivor access to critical medical services. She has a background in championing progressive policy issues, as she also served as the Director of Strategic Initiatives for the State Innovation Exchange. Karen gained additional policy and advocacy experience as Director of Policy for LiveWell Colorado. In this role, she focused on statewide coalition-building to increase access to health, nutrition, and active transportation. Prior to moving to Colorado in 2009, Karen served as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in the Kingdom of Tonga. Following her service, she was instrumental in coalition efforts to successfully pass federal legislation, the Kate Puzey Peace Corps Volunteer Protection Act. Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a Master of Arts in teaching.
